“There’s A Pig In My Classroom” Virtual Pig Farm Visit

Take Part in a Virtual Visit to a Pig Farm to Learn All Aspects of the Pork Industry
For Free Participation, Lesson Plans, Worksheets and Standards Sent to the Class
Grades: 3rd – 6th Grade
Two sessions are available on Friday, May 12
10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
Hosted by the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and sponsored by the LEAP Foundation. There’s a Pig in my Classroom is a virtual program designed to teach students where and how pork gets to their plate. Students will learn about how pigs are raised on the farm, production terminology and purchasing pork in the grocery store.

Virtual programming will be delivered via Zoom, from the Indiana State Fairgrounds
